PowerPoint® Karaoke

This wildly interactive workshop is based on the new Happy Hour trend, PowerPoint Karaoke.

The instructor will demonstrate PowerPoint Karaoke and walk participants through the delivery skills that enhance any slide based presentation. Volunteer participants will then present slides they’ve never seen before, on topics ranging from a restaurant menu to Medicare Part D. After the group is warmed up, the instructor will provide coaching on how to make their content even more effective.

The learning objectives for this workshop include:

  • How to use physical skills to make your content the focus of your presentation
  • How to appropriately use PowerPoint or other visual support materials
  • How to think on your feet; Impromtu speaking skills
  • How to appear confident when presenting, even if your content is difficult to articulate

The goal of this workshop is to teach participants how to use PowerPoint effectively, without boring your audience to tears.
